What made you start doing cosplay ? I have always loved Halloween and Comic books, video games and such. When I was researching a Halloween costume one year, I came across a Lilith cosplayer and first discovered what cosplay was. I immediately jumped into the scene and started making friends and going to conventions. When I started, very few girls cosplayed so there wasn’t as much to find online as there is now, but that quickly changed.
What I love about cosplay: Its fun to dress up and be something different for a small time. I really love to come close to reenacting something I love, and doing justice to a series or character I admire. It’s my way of showing my love for the fandom I am cosplaying from. Its also a great sense of accomplishment to create something yourself!
What’s your favorite character to dress up as ? I love my Miranda from Mass Effect costume because she’s sexy, badass, and the costume is comfortable!
What is your biggest inspiration for cosplay? The desire to create something from scratch and wear it with my friends at a convention. That’s what drives me.
Do you make your own cosplay costumes, if so, which ones? Ive made most of my costumes, but I almost always need help in some degree for some aspect that is new. I like learning new things with each costumes, and my friends help me do that. I couldn’t have done all my costumes today without all the great friends I have in the scene.
Credit to any photographers ? ( Just a List of names or companies) Pixelette Photography is who I’d like to thank the most. In addition to that, Bryan Humphreys, BGZ Studios, LJInto, Benny Lee, and numerous others have helped bring my creations to another level of art, throughout the years. [/one_half_last]
